IRFI is the designated training agency of the Rome Chamber of Commerce and acts in compliance with its institutional mandate given by the Chamber of Commerce itself. Its main activities are research, consultancy, development and management of training activities which further its business members’ interests and encourages business and economic growth in the region. Typical assignments include delivery of tailored training and support services for the following fields of expertise: SME development and entrepreneurship development; adult learning and links with the labour market; training needs assessment and human resource development through innovative training programmes for owners, managers, consultants, and jobseekers and formulation and delivery of tailored training initiatives for meeting the skills demand in growing sectors. IRFI works actively with national, and foreign institutions (Ministry of Internal Affairs, OIM, etc.), universities and research centres (University La Sapienza, National Council of Researches, etc.), local and regional authorities, social partners and business associations, companies of different size.

Founded in 1985, Omega Technology is an experienced and well known company in IT services in Greece. The Company serves Greek public bodies, enterprises and other organizations with technology and services made possible by the 25 years of experience. Solutions provided include 3D applications, e-commerce applications, e-learning platforms, document and knowledge management systems, tailor made applications for people with disabilities. The company additionally offers and a broad range of management and services including consulting, research and development, digitization, annotation and preservation of content, hardware supply and installation and technical support. The company is in close cooperation with the Academic society, running several R&D projects. "MOKUME STUDIO" was founded in Thessaloniki in February of 1988 with one goal: The Vocational Training of students in Silversmithing and Jewellery Design. In 1992-΄93, MOKUME opens a new branch in Athens, after an innovative and successful course. The same year Mokume becomes a member of F.E.D.E. (Federation Europeene Des Ecoles), the European branch of Education of U.N.E.S.C.O.. In 1994, the shareholders and the management of Mokume schools, submit an application for the recognition of the programme of studies in the Greek Ministry of Education, which was approved. Since then, both schools are the unique "Private Vocational Training Institutes" in Silversmithing (in the sectors of Handmade Jewellery, Casting Jewellery and Jewellery Design) recognized by the Ministry of Education, in Greece. Nowadays, Mokume institutes' goal is to encourage their students to approach an artistic view in jewellery, apart from the manufacturing one.

The Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIA-BML) is a non-profit private organization working for the public benefit. The CCIA-BML was established in 1898 and is the largest of the four Lebanese Chambers. The CCIA-BML aims at stimulating all sectors of economic activity and enabling them to contribute to the development of a strong and competitive national economy. Thus the Chamber provides a large array of services to the business sector, such as consular services (issuance of certificates of origin, authentication of invoices and commercial documents), GS1, labeling, bar code, ATA carnet, TIR carnet, trade shows, business delegations, arbitration and mediation, business training, economic research, and support to SMEs. The CCIA-BML's membership roster currently includes over 14,000 Lebanese businesses, located in two main districts : the Beirut district and the Mount Lebanon district. About 70 percent of businesses operating in Lebanon are located in these two districts.

BIAT, a not-for-profit organization, was established by the three organizations: The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Agriculture and Trade Tripoli, Mutual Fund for the Members of the Chambers of Commerce of Lebanon, and The Rene Mouawad Foundation . BIAT was established with the assistance and back up of the Integrated SME support program, an EU funded project at the Ministry of Economy and Trade of Lebanon. A second EU support phase has been provided including a grant and technical assistance. BIAT is managed by a motivated, professional, experienced, and caring team ready to assist clients with their financial, technical, marketing, legal, accounting, exporting and training issues along with networking them to the relevant contacts. What we do? BIAT runs two Business Development Centers. Our main branch is in Tripoli and a satellite office in Halba, Akkar. We provide a large portfolio of training courses designed to accommodate all levels of ability and budgets for the following subjects IBP, SMEM, Introduction to Marketing, Bookkeeping, and Access to Finance, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Business English. A business Incubator is designed specifically to help start-up firms from North Lebanon. We provide our incubatees with different services. And an innovation center is a place dedicated to developing ideas and growing businesses. That contains an innovation program and a talent factory. Finally BIATs industrial space provides an opportunity of research and development into more innovative methods of providing various types of soap from olive oil.

The Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade established the Jewelry Technology Centre (JTC) in 2006 as a technical jewelry training centre.

PRIME | Promoting Intergenerational Learning in Mediterranean Countries

The 2007-2013 ENPI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme is a multilateral Cross-Border Cooperation initiative funded by the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI). The Programme objective is to promote the sustainable and harmonious cooperation process at the Mediterranean Basin level by dealing with the common challenges and enhancing its endogenous potential. It finances cooperation projects as a contribution to the economic, social, environmental and cultural development of the Mediterranean region. The following 14 countries participate in the Programme: Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Palestine, Portugal, Spain, Syria (participation currently suspended), Tunisia. The Joint Managing Authority (JMA) is the Autonomous Region of Sardinia (Italy). Official Programme languages are Arabic, English and French (
